The Servant CARE staff member position is a faith based position and
they are either financially self-supporting or they raise their
support for ministry just as the missionaries they serve.
Lin and Jeff Braun

Jeff and Lin married in 1968 and have two sons Brad and Joe and six grandchildren. Lin was saved at the age of 12 in a small Baptist church in rural South Carolina. Jeff was raised in church in North Carolina and walked the aisle when he was 11, but was not saved until the age of 47, thanks to a “God-planned” move to Fort Worth , Texas. Both Jeff and Lin have been actively involved in market place ministry since their relocation to Alabama . Jeff is a deacon at Northside Community Church and Lin teaches Sunday school, and sings on the praise team. They are both part of the Gideon Ministry Jeff and Lin saw how important a ministry like ServantCARE is after a short term mission trip to the Marshall Islands and have developed a real heart for serving with our ministry. With their caring hearts they have been a wonderful blessing to the ministry.
Jerry and Linda Peeples

Jerry and Linda, born in Miami , were high school sweethearts and married in 1963. They have two children, a son and daughter, and seven grandchildren. Jerry, born into a Christian home, contracted TB when he was 8 yrs and was homebound for a year. He was anointed and prayed for according to James 5:13-15 and was miraculously healed (with no evidence of scaring a week later when he was x-rayed). He was saved at that time. Through the faithfulness of a neighbor Linda was able to attend church as a child and came to the Lord at about 8 or 9 years of age. Jerry served in the Coast Guard, retired from the Miami-Dade Fire Department, and had a construction license in both Florida and Alabama . Jerry and Linda served in music ministry for thirty years with Jerry as the choir director and Linda the pianist. Jerry also served for years with Crown Financial teaching Christians how to Biblically handle their finances. After retiring they moved to Cullman , Alabama where they have served the Lord at New Life Church.
Richard Huey

Born in 1980, Richard has lived in the Atlanta vicinity his entire life. Upon graduation he attended Gordon Community College for two years and then transferred to study computer science and physics at Berry College. He is presently involved in the young adults ministry (ALIVE) at his church, Griffin First Assembly of God. Having a heart for outreach Richard volunteers each year at the Atlanta Fest where thousands come for a three day Christian music extravaganza. Presently he is seeking God’s will for His ultimate destiny in ministry, and as he waits and listens, he is surrendered to be used in whatever manner God chooses. We are thankful that includes serving as our webmaster.
