Team CARE
Volunteer Role (Remote)
Are you passionate about caring for, encouraging, and praying for other believers? Team CARE helps maintain the focus on relationships within the
ministry team by faithfully calling those in the ServantCARE network, sending cards, and following up with people as needed.
Hours: 1 hour per week
Location: Work can be done from the comfort of your own home.
Role Qualifications:
- Is born again and has an intimate relationship with the Lord
- Enjoys encouraging other believers through phone calls and cards
- Is passionate about caring for others through conversation and prayer
- Has a passion for all believers to see the Great Commission fulfilled
- Comfortable with making phone calls
- Is competent in follow-up/follow-through
- Can communicate with, and relate to a variety of people & personalities
- Is competent/teachable in basic computer skills (email, logging into a website, navigating a website, and typing)
Role Responsibilities:
- Follow the direction from Team CARE Lead on who, how, and when to reach out to those in your CARE
- Call those in your CARE for the primary reason to care for, encourage, and pray with them
- Responsible for documenting interactions on the ServantCARE platform to ensure each person we are connected with is cared for.
- Attend the annual ServantCARE team meetings
- Use ServantCARE email to communicate, and if necessary, use personal cell
Support Received:
- Will receive a ServantCARE email
- Direct Line of communication to the Team CARE Lead via call, text or email
- In-person or Remote Training & ongoing training, as needed
- Will have access to use the ServantCARE network at any time
