An Invitation to Rest 

Still Waters Home is a peaceful place to get away on your own or a landing place for a few days of rest. Tucked away in the sleepy town of Bon Aqua, TN, our home is surrounded by 70 acres of quiet countryside with horses, chickens, and dogs to keep you company. It’s remote, restful, and full of peace. We love hosting and caring for others, and we would be honored to welcome you here.

We offer a maximum 3-night stay, with check-in from 4:00–8:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Enjoy time for reflection and renewal, walk the peaceful grounds, or simply be still. A custom guidebook is available with nearby parks, dining, and shopping.

If your stay includes a weekend, you are welcome to join us for our gatherings:

• Sundays: House church in the morning
• First Saturdays: Worship & prayer night (no Sunday gathering that weekend)

These are intimate, refreshing times of worship, encouragement, and connection.

• We have one bedroom that will accommodate a single person or a married couple.
• We love children! but our space is suitable to serve adults only.

Meals

• Home-cooked breakfast and dinner included
• Coffee always available
• Lunch on your own (restaurants 10–15 minutes away)

Optional Add-Ons

• Horse Experience (Equine-Assisted Learning): $75 per person, one-hour session. A unique opportunity to connect with God, yourself, and the gentle presence of horses in a safe space for healing and growth.

• Ministry Coaching Session: $75 per hour. Private, confidential time with David or Christine for prayer, encouragement, and biblical wisdom. With over 30 years in ministry, David and Christine DeGarmo understand the hardships of life, the pain of the soul, and the deep need for compassionate support. They offer practical solutions, spiritual insights, and heartfelt encouragement to help you navigate life’s difficulties.

Financial assistance is available for both Horse Experiences and Coaching Sessions.

We would love the opportunity to host you in this quiet place of rest and renewal.
