ServantCARE Safeguard

Starting January 28, 2025, ServantCARE has added a risk management platform called the ServantCARE Safeguard to each booking.​​

Why are we adding this?
There are times when accidents happen regardless of intentions. And when they do, we want to have a solution in place that covers any associated repair costs so there is no added financial burden for hosts. Our heart is to honor those who host with ServantCARE.

Who are we partnering with?
ServantCARE is partnering with Truvi. Truvi covers damages caused by guest(s) and adds an additional layer to ServantCARE’s background guest approval process.

What does this cover for Host Homes?
Accidental or malicious damage to the home, belongings or contents.

What is not covered?
General wear and tear/cosmetic damage. Damage not caused directly by a guest. Bodily injury suffered by a guest or host.

What is the process if there is an incident?
If you need to report something, email [email protected] with the details and pictures of the damage. ServantCARE will report it and will follow through on the resolution. ServantCARE will also be responsible for any needed communication with guest(s). Please don’t make non-emergency repairs until you hear back from ServantCARE..

How does this impact guests?
For housing requests made after January 28th, 2025, there will be an additional $12 fee listed on most of our Hospitality Homes. If guest(s) request a home with the ServantCARE Safeguard, guest(s) will still be sent the regular waiver forms to complete, only they will be completed on Truvi’s platform. The $12 fee will be paid with the final invoice upon reservation confirmation and will remain a flat fee regardless of the length of stay.
