Private Rest Home for Missionaries Serving Cross Culturally
A missionary retreat center that provides a pause from all the voices, commitments, and stresses of missionary life - giving room for rest, refilling, and a healthy reset. Located just 30 minutes from Chattanooga, TN, this home has a private 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully renovated house that can sleep 6-8 people. 2 bedrooms have Queens and the 3rd bedroom has 2 Twins. The Rec room has a pullout sofa that sleeps 2. Large open kitchen, den with fireplace, and game room will all help to make each visit a beautiful experience. Set on 35 acres - our property has light walking trails, fire-pit & quiet pond-side seating. Basic home essentials are provided: linens, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, baby gear, a starter bag of groceries, tea, coffee, and high speed internet.
Debriefing is available and can be tailored to your needs during the application process.
Note: This home is available to serve missionaries who are serving God overseas, or in cross-cultural settings. There is a 3 night minimum, with a maximum stay of up to 2 weeks.
Price: While Beginning of the Rest does not charge a nightly fee, we kindly suggest a donation of $70 per night. Any gifts over the minimum are appreciated and will assist those who are struggling financially and you will join our generous donors who enable us to provide this home to so many servants of our King.
