Expansion Ambassador

Volunteer Role (Remote)

Are you someone who enjoys traveling and meeting new people? We're expanding our network of Hospitality Homes all over! We're seeking mission-minded people who can occasionally travel to visit homes and meet the home owners for the purpose of having more homes available to those serving in ministry.

Hours: 3 travel days per every 3 months.

Location: Traveling up to an 8 hour drive from home.

Role Qualifications:

• Is born again and has an intimate relationship with the Lord
• Enjoys traveling & meeting new people
• Has discernment
• Has a passion for Missions/Missionaries & to see the Great Commission fulfilled
• Is competent in follow-up/follow-through
• Is able to communicate with, and relate to a variety of people & personalities

Role Responsibilities:

• Occasional local travel, as needed, up to 4 weekends per year
• Local is defined as no more than 8 hrs drive time from your home
• Stay overnight at the person(s) place they travel to
• Follow the guidelines for interviewing a Hospitality Home Host Applicant
• Collaborate with the Expansion Director in order to make decisions on approving or not approving any Hospitality Home Hosts that have been visited and follow the next steps guidelines
• Exercise discretion and discernment before, during, and after one’s visit to the Hospitality Home Host Applicant
• Attend Regional Expansion Team Meetings digitally once a quarter 
• Attend a one-time yearly all-expansion team meeting (online)
• Coordinate and schedule the visiting day(s) with homeowner(s) for their trips
• Use ServantCARE email to communicate, and if necessary, use personal cell

Support Received:

• Will receive a ServantCARE email 
• If needed, gas costs are covered by the ministry
• Direct Line of communication to the Expansion Director via call, text or email
• In-person or Remote Training & ongoing training, as needed
• Will have access to use the ServantCARE network at any time
