Housing Coordinator

Volunteer Role (Remote)

Are you gifted in administration, good with details, efficient in follow through, and enjoy serving the global Church? Do you enjoy communicating with others in order to meet needs and serve those you correspond with? ServantCARE receives dozens of housing requests each week. The Housing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring each request is seen through to a finalized status. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who will handle housing requests while cultivating positive relationships with guests, hosts, and ServantCARE staff.

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Location: Work can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Fundraising is strongly recommended for this position.

Role Qualifications:

• Is born again and has an intimate relationship with the Lord
• Passionate about serving the global Church.
• Involved in a local church.
• Dependable and able to devote time each day to housing requests.
• Competent/teachable in technology including ServantCARE’s website, Gmail, Google Drive, etc.
• Is detail-oriented and competent in follow-up/follow-through
• Is able to communicate with, and relate to a variety of people & personalities in a friendly way

Role Responsibilities:

• Respond to housing requests in a timely manner. 
• Move housing requests through the booking process according to the ServantCARE procedure.
• Coordinate with hosts and guests to confirm reservations if possible. 
• Work closely with other Housing Coordinators to ensure all requests are handled efficiently and effectively. 
• Diligently keep information confidential as needed as not to compromise those in ministry.
• Attend annual ServantCARE team meetings in person.
• Use ServantCARE email to communicate, and if necessary, use personal cell phone.

Support Received:

• Will receive a ServantCARE email 
• Direct Line of communication to the Director via call, text or email
• In-person or Remote Training & ongoing training, as needed
• Will have access to use the ServantCARE network at any time
• Will be given materials, resources, and support needed to fundraise through ServantCARE.
