Social Media Specialist

Volunteer Role (Remote)

Are you an influencer or fluent social media user who would like to flex your prowess for a God-given purpose? We’re seeking a creative person who has a zest for writing, marketing, and creating a social media presence so that ServantCARE can CARE for more pastors, missionaries, and those in ministry. 

Hours: Minimum of 2-3 hours per week.

Location: Work can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Fundraising is optional for this position.

Role Qualifications:

  • Is born again and has an intimate relationship with the Lord
  • Has a passion for Missions/Missionaries & to see the Great Commission fulfilled
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Ability to develop and implement a ministry social media strategy.
  • Ability to monitor online activity.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
  • Familiarity with photography and videography for use in social graphics and content.

Responsibilities: May Include (but are not limited to):

  • Produce and edit video content.
  • Create and present content for our social media platforms.
  • Assist with proofreading or editing other content before publishing.
  • Perform background research as needed.
  • Review live content monthly and create reports outlining success rates.
  • Keep your volunteer time and submit to ServantCARE leadership monthly.

Support Received:

  • Will receive a ServantCARE email 
  • Direct Line of communication to the Director via call, text or email
  • In-person or Remote Training & ongoing training, as needed
  • Will have access to use the ServantCARE network at any time
