Welcome to “Dad’s House”—a peaceful, unhosted historic home set on a working pecan farm. This simple retreat offers 3 bedrooms (queen bedroom, two twins, and a full bedroom accessed by going through one of the other bedrooms) and 1 bathroom, making it a comfortable space for families or small groups. Guests need to bring their own groceries. Laundry is available. Internet is not available.
Enjoy quiet moments sitting on the porch, walks through the pecan farm, and the beauty of the surrounding land. A detached open garage is also available. The hosts live in a separate home, on the property, where they grow pecans and care for active beehives, adding to the farm’s charm.
Some nearby attractions are: 1. National Quilt Museum in Paducah, within 10-15 miles (The annual Quilt Week usually occurs the last full week of April and attracts thousands!) 2. Land Between The Lakes recreational area for hiking and fishing on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, within 30 miles. 3. Carson Center in Paducah for concerts, entertainment
